Practicing Sabbath in a Pluralistic Context, Overpopulation, and Contraceptives (revisited) - Ask Us Anything
This week Nathaniel and Matt talk about several questions about practicing Sabbath:
-Is work subjective based on the person? Are there right & wrong ways of specifically doing Sabbath?
-Why is Sabbath not a common topic in many churches?
-What if your delight on the Sabbath causes others to break Sabbath? ie. going out to eat, to the movies, to the spa? Is that considered causing others to stumble?
They then respond to several questions about topics from last week's podcast on having children and contraception. The topics include overpopulation, clarity on the motives around choosing to not have kids, the relationship of contraceptives toward transactional sex, and clarifications on how the Catholic Church predicted contraceptives would engender cultural dispositions toward sex.
